The pedestrian circulation system at Wingfield Springs is divided into two distinct areas: the Northern Parcel (north of Vista Blvd) and the Southern Parcel (south of Vista Blvd).
- Northern Parcel: The system includes a combination of multi-use trails and golf cart paths located on the Red Hawk Lakes Course.
- Southern Parcel: Access to any part of the Red Hawk Hills Course is strictly prohibited.
Rules for Using the Pedestrian Circulation System on the Lakes Course:
- Golf Hours Restriction: Access to the trails/paths on the Lakes Golf Course is permitted only when golf is not in play. If golfers are on the course, these paths are closed to pedestrians.
- Designated Path Access: Only the specific trail/path system identified in the Wingfield Springs Development Agreement is available for pedestrian use. This trail runs between the two large wetlands and generally connects Island Queen Drive, Silver King Drive, and Eagle Wing Circle.
- Prohibited Wheeled Devices: Skateboards, rollerblades, skates, scooters, bikes, and other wheeled devices—whether motorized or non-motorized—are not allowed on the golf course trails/paths.
- There is NO fishing permitted on the Red Hawk Golf and Resort property at any time
- Animals:
- Animals may only be walked on the designated trails/paths when golf is not in play.
- All animals must be kept on a leash at all times, and owners are required to clean up after their pets. Unleashed animals are prohibited in all areas of Wingfield Springs.
Private Property and Trespassing:
- Both the Hills Course and Lakes Course are private property.
- Unauthorized access to the Hills Course is considered trespassing.
- Unauthorized access to the Lakes Course, beyond the defined Wingfield Springs trail/path system, will be considered trespassing.
- Unauthorized access to the Lakes Course during golf hours on the designated paths will also be considered trespassing.
- These policies are in place for the safety and enjoyment of all residents and guests.
