Red Hawk Swim and Fitness Membership Inquiry
Spin:
Ride from the shoreline to the hills in this journey designed to provide you with the optimum fat burning and strength building. This ride will simulate varied terrain as you tackle rolling hills, sprints, and other drills to give you a great interval workout. Come find the inspiration you’ve been looking for to help you achieve your personal goals! This class is for both beginners and seasoned cyclists!
Hatha Vinyasa Yoga:
Meaning “Union” – it unites the mind with the body and the body with the soul. Yoga is an ancient art and philosophy that involves both the mind and body and is aimed at self-development and self-realization. The physical practice of yoga involves performing postures (asanas) and using controlled breathing and meditation to stretch and tone the body, improving circulation and movement.
Restorative Yoga:
This practice is designed to restore the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions from the body and mind. (All Levels)
Cardio and Strength:
Have fun and move to music through a variety of functional exercises designed to increase muscle strength, energy, and stamina that benefit movement for daily living. Handheld weights, elastic tubing, grip squeeze balls, stability balls, along with a chair for seated exercises and standing support, are provided for classes. This strength class is senior-friendly, and all fitness levels are welcome (exercises can be modified).
TRX:
This class focuses on functional movements that aim to increase your strength and improve balance and flexibility. The class will mix gentle strength and cardio training with stretching and mobility work. These components are essential to a well-rounded exercise program and can offer great variety to your routine!
Gentle Yoga:
Whether you are in good health and just need to maintain wellness, or you are recuperating from an injury or have a limiting health condition, Gentle Yoga is for you! Like our basic yoga class, gentle yoga focuses on the basic movements and breathing techniques for those who are limited in movement or just want a calmer version of a basic yoga class.
Robyn’s Yoga Diversity:
Yoga classes vary in styles like Hatha, Yin, Vinyasa, etc., offering a mix of postures, breathwork, and meditation for different levels and goals.
Flow and Restore:
This yoga class offers both Vinyasa and Restorative elements. The first half of the class is a flow connection of breath with movement to warm up the body, followed by restorative yoga poses with longer holds to release tension and promote relaxation.
LIFT:
LIFT is a strength training class that aims to build muscle and cardiovascular improvements through resistance training. LIFT is a full-body workout that focuses on challenging reps taken close to momentary muscular failure to force adaptations that grow stronger.
Yoga and Pranayama:
Focus on breathing techniques to promote relaxation, improve flexibility, and enhance mental clarity. It’s designed to help you connect with your body and breath, regardless of experience level.
Strong:
Boost athletic performance, strength, power, and efficiency. Increase bone density and strengthen connective tissue. Increase energy and confidence. This full-body workout incorporates dumbbells, circuit, cardio, step or bench, AMRAP, mobility, and flexibility routines. We will build on movements, making them more difficult or adding reps at a pace each individual is comfortable with.
Rise and Shine Yoga:
An energizing yoga class designed to awaken your body, stretch your muscles, and boost your energy levels. All levels welcome.
Spin-TRX Fusion:
30 minutes of cycling followed by a TRX interval session focusing on a full-body workout. The format of this class will allow those who prefer to continue riding to be coached as well. This class is suitable for all fitness levels.
